This thread has been made to explain the alliances as well as to claim which one your character belongs too. Please take the time to read this. It goes hand in hand with the plot and is essential for understanding things fully. Also, it will make your application process and creating your character much easier. Everyone belongs to one, even civilians.

VONNEGUT'S ORDER

The oldest and largest assassination ring. Not much is known about them, but one thing is for sure. They are everywhere. Right now, they are looking to capture Victor Faust and the high ranking members of his new found order. Be warty. Any threat to their organization doesn't go unnoticed.

VICTOR'S NEW ORDER

They embark on the ultimate mission: take out the leader of the world’s oldest and largest assassination ring, and gain control of its operations—while at the same time fighting each other, and battling their own demons. Victor Faust’s new Order is growing. Business is good as there is no rest for the wicked in an underground world of hardcore criminals and contract killing. Relationships among the operatives have changed little over the past year—but things are about to change now.

Also known as the Shadow Sect

This organization is more underground than The Order or the Black Market. It's purpose isn't to fulfill contract hits but to product contractors. The are born and raised within their organization trained as assassins and spies from the moment they leave the womb. They have no mother or father to care for them, they are born without identities and only later assigned names. They are almost entirely numb to the basic human emotions like love and sympathy, those would only make them weak. If a infant is born with a defect they are sold to adoption agencies. They would rather make a profit then to kill them off completely.

A few notes on this organization that pertain to the canons: Nora Kessler was born from them and left with a bang, of course. Solis was one of the leaders and the "father" (sperm donor) to many of the children. Nora killed him. Claire (Nora's sister) was born with a heart murmur and sold to an adoption agency. She was later killed by Victor Faust after knowledge that Niklas Fleischer and her had become romantically involved.

CIVILIANS (SELF/NONE)

This is pretty self explanatory. These are for people who aren't associated with any group. This is largely for civilians (with a few exceptions of course). This also applies to people who are related to assassins but aren't knowledgeable in that person's job description and/or life.

A few notes on this alliance that pertain to the canons: Dina Gregory (Izabel's surrogate mother), Tessa Flynn (Dorian's wife), James Woodard's family (wife and children), Claire (Nora's sister and Niklas's lover) would fall into this category.

CREATE AN ALLIANCE

This is for (mostly) rogues. People who have their own gangs, drug rings, etc. You can make one for another assassination organization but there will be a limit to that. There can't be hundreds of well known assassins let alone on a world wide scale. Little ones perhaps may be allowed if they are focused on a much smaller scale targeted to specific regions.
